Little did I know at that time there was a glitch in the hardware/software that prevented the system from performing to its best: the system wasn’t feeding excess electricity back to the grid 😢
However, to Freedom Energy’s credit, when I raised the issue ( my confusion at how I was reading the production/usage display) FE quickly determined the problem and fixed it. Remotely.

I will say, even w/o feeding electricity back to the grid (probably not that much during winter) the system was still reducing my reliance on the grid when the sun was visible and reducing my electric bill.
